Metal Gear Rex by ThreeA

Hi girls & guys !

I write this topic to share with you some picts of the Metal Gear Rex by the toy maker ThreeA that will be released in 2012.
It's just a shame and such a wastefulness that this mecha is only a toy and not a resin GK or plastic model kit... As a MGS fan, I'm so frustrated that this looks to not be released as a GK or plastic kit... About 42cm that would have been so nice to paint such kit !
If some people have some infos about this MG Rex as a kit or some other models, please tell us here !

To me, I would raher have a real great High Grade plastic kit, than this one. Seriously, it looks like a toy....

As you I love this mecha, I'm also a great fan de Shinkawa, and I also was a great a fan of Ashley Wood when he was drawing Spawn,
but this is not a reason...

I don't even know the price, of this things but to me this is not serious.

This one is a lego amateur figure, and that could give you an idea of what you should get with 200 doll!

The Rex on the 2nd picture it's a model made from the illustration of Shinkawa for the modelisation in the game. I think it's a 1/35 scale... maybe 1/24 scale.

For the LEGO REX... you have the website?

I also like Yoji Shinkawa. I have an autograph in a artbook (the art of MGS2) by Kojima and Shinkawa when they came to the FNAC (des halles) for the promotion of MGS4.
